Start from what the money is for. If none of these fits, call us: there is usually a way.
What decides your rate
The “from” rate is what a lender offers its best profiles. Where you land depends on five things, and we know which lenders weigh each one more kindly.
- Your CIBIL score. 750 and above gets the best pricing; below 700 narrows the list of lenders.
- Income and employer. Government, PSU and listed-company employees usually get lower rates.
- Existing EMIs. Most lenders want all your EMIs within 50% to 60% of your monthly income.
- Security. Loans against property or pension cost less than unsecured loans.
- The repo rate. Floating-rate loans move when the RBI changes its policy rate.
